The Makarska City Tourist Board has issued a public call for the lease of six Christmas huts on Kačićev trg in Makarska. These are catering huts intended for this year's edition of the Advent in Makarska event, also known as "The Biggest Little Advent".
The event will take place from 4 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. A total of six catering huts are planned for this year's Advent. Eligibility is open to legal entities and sole traders registered for catering activities who meet the conditions of the public call. Independent chefs, confectioners and catering teams may also apply, provided they operate through appropriately registered sole proprietorships or companies.
The selection of caterers will not be based exclusively on the offered rent. Significant weight will be given to the quality and creativity of the gastronomic concept, its alignment with the Advent atmosphere, the feasibility of the offer and the ability of the applying team to successfully realise the envisaged concept.
Bids must be received by Friday, 6 November 2026, by 14:00, regardless of the method of delivery. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the address of the Makarska City Tourist Board, Franjevački put 2a, 21300 Makarska. The application must be marked: "Public call Advent in Makarska 2026 – do not open".
