On Wednesday, 22 July, police, acting on a warrant from the Municipal Court in Zlatar, Permanent Service in Zabok, searched a house, holiday home and other premises owned by a 61-year-old Croatian national in a settlement within the city of Zabok.

Officers from the Krapina-Zagorje County Police found an M48 rifle, one semi-automatic rifle, a revolver, a gun barrel, 273 rounds of ammunition and 13 hunting cartridges during the search. A criminal complaint was filed against the 61-year-old man for the unlawful possession, manufacture and procurement of weapons and explosives, under Article 331(1) and (3) of the Criminal Code.

In the same operation, 21.4 grams of marijuana were found on a 29-year-old Ukrainian national living in the same household. A penalty order was issued against him for violating the Act on the Suppression of Drug Abuse.
