While Djokovic was learning technical details, such as the choice of racket and string type, Ljubicic advised him to always remain true to himself and authentic. This advice became the foundation of his subsequent development.
The Serbian tennis player stated that he has consistently followed this advice throughout his career. In addition to Ljubicic, he also thanked Mario Ancic, who, during his professional career, was ranked seventh on the world rankings.
