The new ski season begins this weekend with slalom races for men and women in Sölden, Austria. At the start of the new season, Croatian colours will be defended by Zrinka Ljutić and Filip Zubčić, who are satisfied with the preparations behind them.
Both highlighted that they hope for good results both at the season opener and in the continuation of the competitions. Their expectations are based on a well-executed preparation period, which gives them additional self-confidence ahead of the first races.
Zrinka Ljutić stated: "I trained in Sölden..." This confirmed that she completed part of her preparations on the very course where the season's first slalom race will be held, which could help her adapt to the conditions.
The season opener in Sölden traditionally brings together the world's best skiers, and the Croatian representatives are entering the new season with the aim of achieving notable results from the very start.
