Among the recipients of the 'Oscar of the Profession' award are numerous educational staff from Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. The awards were presented to staff from the southernmost part of Croatia, which was assessed as a further recognition of their contribution to the educational system.
The title of 'excellent advisor' was awarded to Marija Zvono. Alongside her, colleagues from schools and nurseries in Dubrovnik, as well as staff from educational institutions in the Dubrovnik Riviera, Metković, and Ploče, received recognition for professional advancement.
Jagoda Đurović, Linda Jurkić, and Evgenija Matović from the Dubrovnik Nursery earned the title of excellent advisor, while Davorka Bronić from the Primary School in the Dubrovnik Riviera advanced to the same rank. Karmela Nikolić Prkačin, Katarina Tolja, and Nika Bagarić from the 'Pčelica' (Bee) nursery advanced to the rank of advisor, as did Marija Zvono from the same nursery. Josip Cvitanović from Metković High School and Marijana Đug from Metković Gymnasium both achieved the rank of advisor.
Advancement to the ranks of mentor, senior advisor, and excellent advisor represents professional development, continuous improvement, and dedication to working with children and students. The awarding of these titles to staff from the southernmost part of Croatia serves as further confirmation of their contribution to the educational system.
