On 29 August, the fifth edition of the gastronomic festival was held in Petrinja. The event, organised by the local association, was attended by the mayor of the city of Petrinja, Magda Komes. Her presence gave a special touch to this annual event, which brings together local food producers and hospitality providers.

At the centre of attention were traditional dishes and a rich gastronomic offer prepared by the participants. Guests from various regions took part, including participants from Vukovar, Koprivnica, Imotski, as well as from the nearby town of Jajce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives from other regions were also present, further enriching the cultural and gastronomic offer of this meeting.

Behind the fun and cultural aspects of the event lies a strong humanitarian message. All funds raised from food sales were dedicated solely to children with developmental disabilities, for the needs of the local Dragutin Tadijanović Primary School. This humanitarian aspect makes the festival special, combining the pleasure of food with social responsibility.

The programme continued on 30 August, when the traditional Petrinja breakfast was held. This event, held in front of St Lawrence's Church, continued the series of events linked to this annual festival. It brought together citizens and guests for a shared breakfast, thus completing the experience of the fifth edition of this popular gathering.
