Oil companies Ina and Petrol have introduced temporary restrictions on fuel supplies at petrol stations in Zagreb. The maximum amount of fuel a single customer can purchase per transaction is 300 litres. This measure aims to regulate the market and ensure fuel availability for all users.
The sales restriction came into force on 24 July and remains in effect until further notice. Although the duration of the measure is defined as temporary, there is currently no announcement regarding when it will be lifted. Customers are required to adhere to the stated limit at every visit to petrol stations operating under these brands in the Zagreb area.
Initial information about the new rules is visible on the ground. A notice regarding the restriction has been posted at an Ina forecourt in the Borovje neighbourhood, where drivers immediately noticed changes in the operation of the stations. The forecourt clearly indicates that this is a temporary measure relating to the maximum quantity of fuel.
A similar situation applies in the western part of Zagreb, where the same rules are in effect. Forecourts in that part of the city have also introduced a limit of 300 litres per transaction, meaning drivers cannot fill their tanks to capacity if it exceeds the stated amount.
Drivers also encountered the restriction message at a Petrol forecourt in the eastern part of Zagreb. This confirms that the measure is widely applied across various locations in the city, rather than just at individual stations. Customers must adapt to the new situation and plan their fuel purchases according to the new rules.
