Roberto Soldić, a fighter from Vitezh, successfully made his debut in the UFC. In his first appearance for the organisation, he defeated American Khaos Williams by judges' decision after three rounds, with the fight placed in the main card.

Soldić entered the bout having stated earlier that he felt he was the best in the world. The fight began with a testing of strength and kicks from distance, with Soldić controlling the centre of the cage. The first round, however, went to the American fighter Williams. Williams landed the first concrete strike, knocking Soldić to the floor with a counter, but Soldić rose immediately. Williams then found an opening in Soldić's guard and sent him down to the canvas with a right hand for the second time. One minute before the end of the first round, Soldić successfully took down Williams and controlled him on the ground until the bell.

In the second round, Soldić found the right distance and began landing clean straight punches. He shook Williams with a series of hooks, then took the fight to the ground, striking the American with powerful elbow strikes. Williams was not, however, finished in the second round.

In the third round, Soldiah continued in the same rhythm. Strikes to the body and legs of Williams caused increasing damage, and in the middle of the third round, Soldiah knocked down his opponent again, controlling the fight on the ground until the end. The judges awarded the victory to Roberto Soldiah.

Soldiah's fight was the second of the evening in the main card. Before his fight, Ateb Gauthier and Roman Kopylov had fought, with Kopylov knocking out Gauthier in the first round. Iman Rodriguez defeated Alden Coria in the first round and won in the flyweight category. The broadcast of the fight will be on the Arena Fight TV channel.
