Only two companies responded to the tender for the preparation of documentation for a new water supply system on the island of Mljet, Morski.hr has learned. The project is valued at nearly one million euros including VAT, yet only two bids were received for the documentation work.

NPKLM Vodovod from Korčula estimated the work at €700,000. This estimate served as the reference value in the selection of the documentation contractor.

The selected tender from Hidroprojekt-ing amounts to €795,520. Consequently, the selected bid exceeded NPKLM Vodovod’s initial estimate.

The total value of the documentation work for the new water supply system on Mljet thus reaches nearly one million euros including VAT. Despite this, only two companies responded to the tender, indicating a lack of interest in the project.
