The development of water infrastructure in the area of Pakrac, Lipik and Požega has received the green light at a meeting of the Council for Slavonia, Baranja and Srem in Donji Miholjac. The state secretary Anja Bagarić handed over the contract to the mayor of Pakrac, Tomislav Novinc.
The total value of this part of the project is around 3.3 million euros without VAT. 80 percent is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which is more than 2.5 million euros. The remaining 20 percent is provided by Croatian Waters with 50 percent and the cities of Požega, Pakrac and Lipik.
The works cover several settlements. In Omanac, the construction of 1,265 meters of water supply pipes is planned. In Filipovac, a 172-meter pressurized water supply pipeline will be built, connected to the Pakrac-Lipik transport pipeline.
In the settlement of Komušina, a network of around 4 kilometers will be built, with 10 fire hydrants.
The project is part of a broader effort to improve water infrastructure in the area of Pakrac, Lipik and Požega, and the approval at the meeting of the Council for Slavonia, Baranja and Srem allows the start of the planned works.
