The contract for the execution of works on the reconstruction of the port infrastructure has been officially signed in Rab. The value of the construction works amounts to 11.1 million euros, representing a significant step in the modernisation of local infrastructure.

A key element of the project is the construction of three floating docks. In addition, 100 new moorings are planned, which will improve the capacity for the accommodation of smaller vessels and yachts. These infrastructure measures are part of a broader project aimed at improving conditions for all participants in maritime traffic.

The works will be carried out by the companies GP Krk d.d. and BSK Commerce, which have presented themselves as joint bidders. This collaboration allows for the combination of the expertise of both entities, which is crucial for the quality execution of complex construction works at the site.

The financial framework of the project consists of 14,362,859 euros in grants, provided by the European Regional Development Fund and the budget of the relevant ministry. These funds enable the realisation of the planned measures without additional burden on the local budget.

The works include the reconstruction of approximately 850 meters of access road to the port, thereby improving access and traffic safety in that area. In addition to road works, the project includes the renovation of the associated infrastructure, including water supply, drainage and electronic networks, creating a foundation for the long-term development and sustainability of the port infrastructure.
