The Bishop of Šibenk, Monsignor Tomislav Rogić, has issued a decision on personnel changes within the diocese. This decree reorganises the parish leadership, with several priests relieved of their duties while others take on new responsibilities within the church administration.
Pere Brkić, a priest transferred from the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna, has been placed at the disposal of the Diocese of Šibenik. At the same time, he has been appointed parish priest of the parish of St Margaret in Jadrtovac. He succeeds Don Ante Omazić, who has been relieved of his duties as parish priest in Jadrtovac. Mr Omazić currently serves as the dean of the Raž Deanery and is the parish priest in Vrpolje.
In the parish of St James in Marina, Mato Drljo has been relieved of his duties as parish priest. This change marks the end of his service in that specific parish, despite his status as a priest in the world.
In Betin, a change has taken place at the parish level. Don Tuna Jozić, who had previously been the parish priest in Jezeri, has been relieved of his duties in the parish of St Francis of Assisi. Don Hrvoje Kolak has been appointed to the position, taking up his duties following his recovery and return from sick leave.
The parishes of Our Lady of the Rosary in Boraj and St Catherine in Ljubitovica have been placed in the care of the newly ordained priest, Don Robert Maretić. He succeeds Don Ante Pavlović, who has been relieved of his duties in both parishes. With these appointments, the list of new parish priests for the locations is complete.
