The residents of Šibice traditionally marked the feast of St. Vincent de Paul and the day of their village. On this occasion, a mass was held in the chapel of the Lužnica castle, and the local council held a celebratory session.

The council, in its new composition, has been operating for the past ten months. During this period, it focused primarily on the development of community life and the gathering of local residents. In addition to the traditional raising of the May pole, new events were introduced, which, as noted, brought joy and a sense of community to the people of Šibice.

Among the new events are Easter in Šibice and the Magic Family Days. The latter attracted visitors from outside the village. The chairwoman of the Local Committee, Mirjana Katarinčić, highlighted that this was the result of the effort and dedication of the younger council members, led by Deputy Chairman Marko Ostreš. The council's sessions were open to the public.

The renovation of the community centre has begun, with worn-out sanitary facilities and the kitchen being replaced. The work plan for the next period includes the continuation of the renovation. Gratitude was expressed to the City of Zaprešić for its support.

Among the priority projects are the expansion and complete renovation of the Lužnica branch, the repair of the road to Jure Novac with both bridges, the renovation and landscaping of the Seleč stream bed, and the improvement of road safety in the area.
