The feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the grandparents of Jesus, was marked by a solemn liturgical celebration on Sunday. The celebration took place at the local church of St Anne in the suburban settlement of Mihovan, where a number of believers who respect this Christian tradition had gathered.

The traditional mass attracted a large number of believers, local residents, and devotees of St Anne. The spiritual celebration represented an important gathering point for the local community, with the large number of attendees testifying to the deep connection of the population with religious traditions and the patron saint of the place.

Among those gathered at the celebration was the mayor of the City of Čakovec, Ljerka Cividini. Her participation in the religious celebration in the suburban settlement highlighted the link between the local authorities and the local communities' cultural and religious events.

The chairman of the local board, Ivica, also attended the celebration. His presence highlighted the importance of cooperation between the local authorities and the local boards in preserving local identities and traditions that unite the citizens.
