The party stated on Saturday that the state, which imposes a medical product, must accept responsibility for the consequences of its use. Reacting to the current suspension of the B vaccine, they highlighted that a state prescribing mandatory medical intervention cannot rely solely on the powers imposed upon it, while evading responsibility when it is suspected that harm has occurred through its implementation.

The party is calling on the relevant authorities for clear answers, the establishment of all relevant facts, and a clear path to securing rights for families whose children have suffered harm. They warned that the current case of the B vaccine and the suspension of its distribution due to reported serious side effects, including osteomyelitis, must be taken with the utmost seriousness, above all considering the children and their parents who are facing potentially severe consequences.

The party’s Council on Ethics and Anti-Totalitarianism stresses that it is not competent to assess the quality and composition of the specific vaccine. The council is interested in how the decision was made to apply the B vaccine as a mandatory measure to all newborns and who is taking responsibility for that decision.

The council stated that when the state makes a preventive medical intervention mandatory, especially when it comes to healthy newborns, there must be a clear and verifiable explanation of the necessity of the measure, the expected benefits, and the potential risks. They consider it necessary for the relevant authorities to clearly define the criteria on the basis of which they will decide on the continued application of the B vaccine.

The party stated that it cannot accept a system in which the state prescribes mandatory medical intervention, citizens are obliged to comply, and in the event of potential harm, parents are left alone to search for answers and those responsible.
