The 12th Eco Fair opened in Čazma today, an event gathering exclusively certified producers of food and cosmetics. It is the only fair of its kind in Croatia, with this year's edition running until Sunday.
Organisers have added a new dimension to the eco platform. The 'ČA Fest' has been launched, bringing together places whose names start with 'ČA'. The idea is to connect people, tradition, and local products through a joint event.
The mayor of Čazma, Valentina Čanađ, expressed satisfaction with the fair's organisation. She highlighted that there are more than 40 exhibitors, a number that has been growing year on year. She also expressed hope that next year, more settlements and towns will join them.
The fair is held with the support of the City of Čazma, the local tourist board, and various sponsors. Among the sponsors are the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the support of the Bjelovar-Bilogara County Tourist Board.
Visitors will be able to browse and purchase products from certified producers until Sunday, while the new ČA Fest is set to further connect regions gathered around a shared name and tradition.
