The Association for the Preservation of the Memory of Istrian Composers – UOSIS is organising a concert tour titled "When Music Tells Stories", dedicated to the Vodnjan-born composer Luigi Donorà (1935–2022). The tour is held in cooperation with the Italian Communities of Vodnjan, Rijeka, Labin, Pula and Buje, under the patronage of the Istrian County – Department for Culture and Homeland, the City of Vodnjan – Department for Social Services and General Administration, and the Pula City Tourist Board.

Luigi Donorà was a significant figure in Istrian musical culture. Originally from Vodnjan, which he left in 1948 to move with his family to Turin, he returned to his homeland frequently from the 1970s onwards. He devoted himself to researching musical traditions and rediscovering Istrian composers. He worked as a composer, musicologist and teacher, and his opus includes symphonic and chamber music, operas, ballets, sacred music, vocal works and numerous pieces inspired by Istrian tradition. For decades, he collected songs, dances and laudes from Istria, Rijeka and Dalmatia.

The tour programme began with a concert at the Italian Community in Rijeka on 11 October. This is followed by performances at the Italian Communities in Pula on Tuesday, 13 October at 20:00, in Buje on Wednesday, 14 October at 19:00, in Labin on Thursday, 15 October at 19:00, and the final performance at the Italian Community in Vodnjan on Friday, 16 October at 20:00.
