The city of Sinj is organising a major concert event on Sunday, 9 August 2026, at Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana. The evening’s main act is the well-known singer Siniša Vuco, whose performance is scheduled to begin at 22:00. This cultural event is a special gift from the city to its residents and all visitors.
The concert is held in honour of the winner of the 311th Alka, continuing the traditional celebration that follows the conclusion of the alka competition and the official declaration of the victor. It is a festive finale to the year’s alka season, bringing the public together to celebrate a significant cultural and historical event.
Attendees will be able to sing along to a number of Sini Vu’s hits, including the tracks „Volim piti i ljubiti“, „Tražena si roba u gradu“ and „Podigla me iz pepela“. Entry to the concert is free, allowing a wide range of citizens and tourists to enjoy the musical programme without the need for tickets.
The celebration will be enhanced by a spectacular fireworks display illuminating the sky above Sinj. The fireworks are also in honour of the winner of the 311th Alka, representing the visual climax of the evening.
