The Council of the City of Đurđevac in collaboration with the City of Đurđevac and the Tourist Board of Đurđevac have announced the holding of an event titled 'Đurđevac Off Grid: Young People Without Borders'. This event is intended exclusively for young people and will take place from 10 to 16 August 2026.
The aim of the event is to connect young people through a combination of educational, sporting and leisure activities. The programme is designed to bring together different segments, including sport, creativity and the interaction of participants. The events will take place in several different locations around Đurđevac, with free entry to all scheduled events.
The educational part of the programme includes a series of lectures essential for the development of young people. Visitors will be able to hear about financial and digital literacy, as well as current opportunities for young people. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of safety and mental health, which will be the topics of special lectures during the event.
In addition to education, the programme offers a range of practical and fun activities. A meteor watching workshop, a panel discussion and a sports day are planned. The cultural and artistic part includes a young people's art exhibition, while visitors can relax at the Picnic Park with a Quiz or in the music listening room.
The finale of the event will be marked by a special musical event. The final musical programme, titled 'Young People's Melodies', will take place in the atrium of the Stari Grad fortress. This event represents the culmination of a multi-day programme that brings together the local community and guests through various forms of expression and socialising.
