The Municipality of Dubrava will fund the purchase of exercise books for primary school pupils in the 2026/2027 academic year. €25,000 has been secured in the budget for this purpose. This decision is part of local self-government measures to alleviate the burden on families.
This local initiative is complemented by a decision from the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The state provides free textbooks for all primary school pupils. By combining this state measure with local support, parents of schoolchildren do not bear costs for mandatory school books this autumn.
The financial assistance from the Municipality of Dubrava is directed exclusively towards exercise books. The secured €25,000 will cover all costs associated with the procurement of these materials. This allows parents to fully focus on preparing their children for the start of the new school year without worrying about additional expenses.
