Dinamo defeated Lokomotiva 3-2 in the match, with Dion Drenzo Beljo scoring two goals for Dinamo, while Niko Galesic added one goal.
For Lokomotiva, Dušan Vuković and Leon Belčar scored in the defeat, but it was not enough to secure a point. The match was commented on by Lokomotiva coach Nikica Jelavić, who gave an interview to MAX Sport television.
'It was a lively match, Dinamo was better in the first half, and we played very well in the second half,' said Jelavić. 'In the end, we didn't deserve to lose, we deserved at least a point.'
The Lokomotiva coach highlighted his players' effort. 'The boys gave it their all, I have nothing to complain about,' he said. 'In the second half, we entered more bravely.'
Jelavić reflected on the red card given to his player. 'I didn't see why my player on the bench received a red card. It all happened behind me,' he said.
Despite the defeat, Jelavić believes in his team's improvement. 'We are in a negative streak, but we can do better,' he said. 'This break will be good for us to reset. We will prepare as best as possible for the next match during this break.'
