Zdenačka Sloga continued their winning streak on their home ground at Jelsin last weekend, defeating Voćin 4:0. Goals for Sloga were scored by Karlo Pelko, Stipe Čavić and Matej Dorinka, with Dorinka scoring twice.

The victory for Puljić’s team was overshadowed by the injury to Zdenčani’s top scorer and the leading scorer in the Premijer ŽNL, Matheus Felipe De Jesus Silve. The Brazilian had to leave the pitch in the 60th minute after sustaining a laceration to his eyebrow in a duel. Felipe was taken for stitches in Osijek, where he received six stitches.

The Zdenčani striker feels well and stated that a serious laceration occurred following a collision with an opponent. According to him, the stitches are due to be removed on Sunday. Felipe’s appearance in the next round, when Zdenčani have a mathematical chance to confirm the autumn title in a home match against Dinamo from Kapele Dvora, is in doubt, and Felipe himself stated that he will most likely miss that game. He will certainly take to the pitch in the final autumn round when the team from Jelsin travels to Školski vrt.

Dinamo from Kapele Dvora travelled to Sladojevci in the next round, where they also had injury problems. Luka Keleković, the second-best scorer for Dinamo, left the pitch as early as the 11th minute and was taken to Virovitica General Hospital by an ambulance. Keleković had added eight goals for the junior selection to his three in the Premijer ŽNL. A leg fracture was initially suspected, but there is no fracture, and the young Dinamo player faces strict rest.

Keleković was replaced by Ivan Leo Viza, who had to leave the game in the 23rd minute due to an ankle sprain. Despite the injuries, Sloga continued their winning streak and hold the autumn title within reach.
