The autumn round of the fifth-tier competition, the 1. ŽNL, began yesterday with matches in Pakoštanje and Bibinje. The home team had a 2:0 lead, but Škabrnja '91, despite playing with one player less, managed to secure a 2:3 victory.

Ivan Kurtov put the team ahead in the 19th minute and Tomislav Vulin in the 25th minute. Luka Kureški scored to reduce the deficit to 2:1 in the 72nd minute, and the same player scored in the 86th minute to level the score. Josip Brkić delivered the complete overturn for the visiting team in the 88th minute. The match between Pakoštanje and Škabrnja '91 ended 2-3.

In the second match, Bibinje defeated Polača 3-1 on their home ground. Stipe Silov was the double scorer for the home team in the 7th and 63rd minutes, while Stipe Gambiraža confirmed the victory for the Bibinje residents in the 88th minute. The only goal for Polača was scored by Josip Čirjak in the 26th minute.

The favourite for the title this season is the team of Abeceda sporta from Murvi, which will host Hajduk from Prd at the ŠC 'Miro Šuri' stadium. The teams of Raštan and Debeljak have expressed great ambition for the new season. Debeljak, playing at home, will face Zemunik, while Raštan will travel to play against Dragovoljac in Poljica.

Today, matches are scheduled between Sabunjar from Privlaka and Nova Zora from Sveti Filip i Jakov. The match between Debeljak and Zemunik is played on Sunday, 20 September at 16:15, while the matches of Dragovoljac Poljani, Raštan, and Abecida sport Murvi are played on Sunday, 20 September at 17:00.
