The newly formed senior squad of KK Rolling has successfully started their first season in the Third League Central. The Karlovački side won their opening match 99-45, confirming a strong start to the campaign.

Rolling took over the senior team spot in Karlovac following the closure of Šanca, and this season they compete in the Third League Central, which has just begun. In the victory over Glina, the coach gave playing time to young players: three juniors (Benić, Katavić, and Fičko) and one cadet (Gvozdić) made their debuts.

The list of scorers was led by 18 points each from Filip Benić and Penić. Manjerović recorded 14, Ćosić 12, and Katvić 10 points. Jaković added 7, Katić 6, while Fran Benić and Fičko each scored 5, and Gvozdi 4 points.

The team Duga Rese, which plays in the same league, has strengthened its squad significantly this season with players from Šanca. Duga Rese hosted Dugo Selo in the first round, winning 86-77 with a second-half turnaround. At half-time, Duga Rese trailed 37-47, and the guests were still leading 62-66 entering the final quarter. Duga Rese proved superior in the closing stages, securing the first points. The players who featured were: Pastuhović 5, Kasunić 2, Latić 27, Vuković, Car 5, Marković 5, Tatalović 6, Pavičić 5, Turković 21, Mihailović, and Škrtić 10.

Ogulin, who was expected to compete in this league, has withdrawn from the competition. Ogulin paid a heavy price for their previous season's adventure in the Second League Central, and after a quick exit, they have withdrawn from the current season.

In the next round, the Karlovački Rollers will travel to Dugo Selo, while Duga Rese will have a bye.
