Toni Sekula from Bibinje became the Croatian champion in speedcubing in the Megaminx discipline, while in the main discipline, the standard 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, he took third place. He reached the title in Megaminx with the second-best result in Croatian history, behind David Vujasić and Erin Pernar.

The Croatian Championship in speedcubing was held in two parts. The first part on 27 September was hosted in Zagreb, where competitors went head-to-head in five so-called 'quiet' disciplines, with all five titles going to Jakov Srečković. He was the best in 3x3x3 with the fewest moves, 3x3x3 blindfolded, 3x3x3 multiple blindfolded, 4x4x4 blindfolded and 5x5x5 blindfolded. There were no representatives from the Dalmatian counties in this first part.

The second part of the championship was held on 3 and 4 October in Petrinja, bringing the remaining twelve disciplines. News from Petrinja was positive, although the number of Dalmatian representatives was lower than expected due to illness. In the most popular discipline, the standard 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, the title was won by David Vujasić, with Jakov Srečk in second place, and third place going to Sekula.

Srečković won five more Croatian championship titles, thus marking the entire championship as the most successful for a Croatian competitor. Vujasić won titles in 3x3x3, 6x6x6, 7x7x7 and 3x3x3 one-handed, while Srečk was second in 3x3x3 one-handed, 3x3x3, 6x6x6 and Square-1, and third in 7x7x7.

The podium was also graced by Vedran Štefulj in Square-1 and Roko Mihael Ivić in Skewb, while medalists included Bruno Ivančić, Hana Atalić, Bartul Marušić, Erin Pernar and Filip Premužić. Sekula achieved second place in international competition at this event, second place in the Skewb discipline, and third places in the 2x2x2, 3x3x3, Pyraminx and 3x3 one-handed disciplines.

Following Zagreb and Petrinja, the best Croatian speedcubers are preparing for a new challenge — on 17 and 18 October, the competition will move to Bibinje, where they will gather for the Bibinje Open 2026. The delegation of Dalmatian speedcubers at this event will be significantly larger.
