Noa Skoko, the 20-year-old midfielder on loan at Rudeš from Hajduk, scored his side’s only goal on Friday in Velika Gorica, where Rudeš lost 2-1 to Rijeka. It was Sko’s third goal since moving on loan to the SuperSport HNL side this summer.
Sko went on loan due to limited playing time in Split, a lack of continuity, and new players arriving at Poljud in his position. He has so far played nine league matches for Rudeš, starting in eight of them, and has scored three goals in league games.
He has scored in both of Rudeš’s victories, against Lokomotiva (4-1) and Gorica (2-1). Rudeš plays their home matches in Velika Gorica, where on Friday they suffered another defeat, with Sko the only scorer for his side.
Sko has made 17 appearances in official matches for Hajduk, mostly coming off the bench, without scoring. However, he has scored in friendly matches. He is under contract with Hajduk until the summer of 2029.
No Sko is the son of Josip Sko, a legend of both Hajduk and the Australian national team.
