Zagorje table tennis clubs Stubica and Zabak played away against the local team of Libertas Marinkolor 2 in the second round of the Croatian First Table Tennis League, with both teams securing 4-1 victories.
Stubica won 1-4. D. Šurbek secured two individual victories, while he also triumphed in the doubles with A. Jalžabet. Jalžabet secured the initial point in the first match, while D. Gospoč was defeated in five sets in his match.
The individual matches of Stubka ended with the following results: M. Venier vs A. Jalž 2-3 (11:8, 12:10, 9:11, 8:11, 9:11), Š. Lukač vs D. Šurb 0-3 (3:11, 5:11, 2:11), V. Đurđ vs D. Gosp 3-2 (12:14, 11:6, 8:11, 11:8, 12:10) and M. Ven vs D. Š 0-3 (7:11, 3:11, 4:11). In the doubles, M. Ven and V. Đ lost to D. Š and A. J 0-3 (13:15, 10:12, 7:11).
Zabak also defeated Libertas Marink with a score of 1-4, with three individual matches going to a fifth set. P. Baki led Zabak with two individual victories, while N. Samac and H. Martinec each secured one individual victory.
The results of the individual matches for Zabak were: M. Ven vs N. Samac 2-3 (11:7, 8:11, 13:11, 4:11, 7:11), V. Đ vs P. B 2-3 (9:11, 11:3, 10:12, 11:4, 6:11), F. Torić vs H. Mart 0-3 (8:11, 1:11, 1:11) and M. V vs P. B 2-3 (11:8, 11:5, 5:11, 8:11, 12:14). In the doubles, M. V and V. Đ defeated P. B and H. M 3-1 (3:11, 11:9, 11:7, 11:6).
After two rounds, Stub is in fourth place with four points, having one less match played compared to the leading trio. Zabak is in sixth and seventh place, also with one less match played. In the next round, Stub and Zab will play two home matches against Velika Gorica and Dugo Selo.
