Novi Zagreb has officially confirmed the arrival of a new player. The squad has been strengthened by Jurica Zagoršak, a 21-year-old wing player from Zadar. With this transfer, the club from Nov Zagreb aims to strengthen its rotation for upcoming competitions.

Zagoršak joins Nov Zagreb from the ranks of Samobor, where he spent the last season. In his debut in the highest division, the young player achieved solid statistical results. He averaged three points and 1.2 rebounds per game, indicating his ability to contribute in attack and under the basket.

Before moving to Samobor, Zagoršak began his professional career at his home club, Zadar. He left the club in the summer of 2023, after which he decided to develop his game abroad. He spent the next two years playing college basketball in the United States.

Following a successful stint in the American system, Zagoršak chose to return to Croatia. By returning to the domestic scene, he joined the Samobor club, where he gained experience playing in a top-tier league. He now continues his professional development in the ranks of Nov Zagreb.
