The Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has begun distributing advance payments to farmers as of 16 October. A total of approximately €230 million will be distributed.
Approximately 100,000 agricultural holdings will receive the support. This advance payment allows beneficiaries to access funds earlier, prior to the final payment of the subsidy.
Farm holdings will receive the support if they submitted a unified application for 2026 and met the eligibility conditions. Without meeting these conditions, the advance payment is not possible.
The payment, launched on 16 October, covers approximately 100,000 holdings across the country. The total amount of the advance is estimated at €230 million.
The Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development is thus continuing to disburse subsidies to farmers for the current year.
