The Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has opened applications for the third call for intervention 73.02, “Restoration of agricultural potential”. A total of €10 million has been allocated for the call, which is intended for farmers whose holdings have been damaged by natural disasters or catastrophic events.
Support for the restoration of agricultural potential has been available again since 2 November, when applications for support began at 12:00. The deadline for applications is 4 January 2027 at 12:00. The third call was published on 15 September 2026.
Individual beneficiaries can receive between €1,000 and €1 million per project, with the intensity of public support set at 100 per cent of eligible costs. This means that eligible restoration costs can be fully financed for beneficiaries who meet the prescribed conditions.
Natural and legal persons engaged in primary agricultural production can apply. Applicants must have been registered in the Register of Farmers or the Register of Family Agricultural Holdings at the time the natural disaster or catastrophic event occurred.
The support is intended for the restoration of agricultural potential that has suffered damage, and not for regular investments in the development or expansion of agricultural holdings. The call therefore does not apply to all farmers, but only to those who meet the prescribed conditions related to the damage incurred.
All information, call conditions, and required forms and instructions are available on the official website of the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development.
