A free experiential workshop for parents will be held in Poreč on Saturday, 31 October. The session will take place on the first floor of the Children and Youth Department of the Poreč City Library, from 10:00 to 12:00.

The workshop will be led by Jasenka Korlević, a counselling therapist specialising in psychodrama psychotherapy. Korlević is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists, the Centre for Psychodrama and the European Association for Psychotherapy. She holds a European Certificate in Psychotherapy, is a professional at the Poreč Club of Alcoholics in Recovery, and operates her own private practice for psychotherapy and counselling.

The workshop is intended for parents who wish to better understand their own emotional reactions, improve communication with their children, and explore new ways of setting boundaries and reacting in everyday situations. Particular emphasis will be placed on how stress and daily burdens affect parents and their relationship with their children.

The workshop is based on the premise that parental competence does not mean perfection, but rather a willingness to learn, adapt, understand and try again. The event is being held as part of the "Dam-daš: volunteers in action" project.

Participation is free, but due to limited spaces, advance notice is required by calling 052 434 196.
