In accordance with the rules of the BOND 3 project, the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County is required to record the use of de minimis state aid by participants in the amount of 70 EUR. State aid refers to support granted to entrepreneurs for the conduct of economic activity, which, due to its limited amount, does not significantly affect competition and trade between Member States of the European Union. Its use must be recorded to ensure that the participant does not exceed the maximum amount of state aid permitted under European Union rules. The participant's declaration is required as proof that they are aware of the aid allocated to them within the framework of the relevant activity, as well as for the proper reporting and justification of costs in accordance with the rules of the BOND 3 project.

The workshop will cover financial literacy, specifically why it is important to be financially 'fit'. Topics include inflation and the impact of inflation on the value of money, savings and investment – the differences between savings and investment, various investment options and financial instruments, government bonds – treasury bills and bonds, stocks and ETFs, investment funds, precious metals, cryptocurrency and real estate.

The discussion will also cover pension planning, the pension system, pension funds and the PEPP, as well as insurance – the difference between protection and investment, and the key criteria for selecting insurance. The aim of the workshop is to introduce participants to key concepts in the field of finance and to enable them to better understand the possibilities of savings, investment and long-term financial planning.
