Police on Wednesday, 22 July, based on the order of the County Court in Zlatar, the permanent service in Zab, searched the house, the summer house and other premises in the ownership of a 61-year-old Croatian citizen in one settlement in the area of the town of Zab.
Officials of the Police of Krapina-Zagorje during the search found a rifle M48, one semi-automatic rifle, revolver, barrel for the weapon, 273 pieces of ammunition and 13 hunting cartridges. Against the 61-year-old was filed a criminal charge for the illegal possession, manufacture and supply of weapons and explosive materials, in accordance with Article 331, paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Criminal Code.
In the same incident, 21.4 grams of marijuana was found in the possession of a 29-year-old Ukrainian, who lives in the same household. Against him was issued a misdemeanor charge for violating the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
