Police have completed the investigation into a 45-year-old Croatian national who is suspected of the unauthorised production and trafficking of drugs. The investigation was conducted by officers from the Criminal Police Department, and the operation culminated in the arrest of the suspect, who was handed over to the detention supervisor.

The search was conducted over the past few days in an apartment and other premises in Zadar, based on a court order. During the operation, officers found and seized a significant quantity of various substances, including 58 grams of cocaine and 462 grams of marijuana.

Among the seized items were 146 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, three tablets of MDMA (ecstasy), and seven sugar cubes soaked in liquid characteristic of the drug LSD. Alongside the drugs, three digital scales for the precise measurement of substances were found, further indicating the commercial nature of the seized substances.

A particular finding was the seizure of illegal firearms. Police seized one pistol with two attached magazines and 125 rounds of pistol ammunition. According to the investigators, the suspect was in illegal possession of the said weapons and ammunition.

Following the completion of the investigation, the 45-year-old was handed over to the detention supervisor. A criminal complaint will be filed against him with the relevant state attorney’s office on suspicion of the unauthorised production and trafficking of drugs, as well as the illegal possession of weapons.
