Officers from the Criminal Police Department, Drug Crime Division of the Šibenik-Knin Police Administration, together with officers from the Police Directorate, conducted a criminal investigation. The operation targeted a 32-year-old Portuguese national suspected of the criminal offence of Unauthorised Production and Trafficking in Drugs.

The stop of the taxi took place on Wednesday, 29 July, during the afternoon. The control occurred on the A1 motorway, at the Vodice junction. The suspect, a Portuguese national, was in the passenger seat of the vehicle.

During a search, one PVC bag containing 143 tablets of LSD drug was found and confiscated from the man. Additionally, twenty-six PVC packets filled with cocaine were found and confiscated. The total gross weight of the cocaine found was 31.2 grams.

Police also found and confiscated one PVC bag containing 50 tablets of MDMA from the suspect. Furthermore, two transparent PVC bags containing 8 tablets of MDMA were confiscated. One of the bags contained MDMA with a gross weight of 15.8 grams.

A plastic box containing eighteen capsules filled with drugs was also found on the man. All items found were confiscated as part of the criminal investigation conducted by the relevant police services.
