In the second round of local elections in Nova Gradiška, Sabina Vlaović and Bruno Bušić are competing. The two candidates have emerged as the main contenders for the position of mayor, with citizens having the opportunity to consider their vote until Sunday, 20 September. In the previous first round, Sabina Vlaović received 46 more votes than her main rival, securing her a place in the second round of the competition.

Sabina Vlaović, the leader of the 'Nova Gradiška moves forward' list, is currently serving as acting mayor. Her deputy is Matej Zborin. On the other hand, Bušić, the HDZ candidate, is running on the 'Team for the City' list. On his list, Bušić has independent candidate Ivan Sertić as deputy. These details indicate that two different political options will compete in the second round, each with their own programme and vision for the city's future.

In addition to these key points, it is important to note that in the previous round, in addition to the main candidates, there were other candidates who participated in the competition. However, their results were not high enough to qualify for the second round. Therefore, in the second round, only two candidates will compete, which may have a significant impact on the outcome of the election.
