On Friday, a literary evening and performance titled 'Portrait of a City' will take place in the Grohote mansion on the island of Šolta. The event is part of the 'Croatian Sounds' (Hrvatski zvukopis) project, organised by the Maribor Cultural Centre (GKMM).
The audience will be treated to performances by prominent literary figures. Among the guests is the writer Marinko Koščec, who will present his work and reflections to the public. He will be joined by the literary critic Jagna Pogačnik.
As the author of the 'Croatian Sounds' project, Jelena Remetin will also present her work. Her participation is part of a broader cultural programme that explores local and regional specificities through various formats.
The event, held in the historic space of the Bratska Kuća (Brethren's House) mansion, adds to the atmosphere of the evening by blending literature with local heritage. The organisers have prepared a programme that combines literary reading with elements of performance, offering visitors a unique experience.
