As part of the 6th Valpibo Route to Health, a ceremony was held for couples. The event took place yesterday at the Park Restaurant in Valpibo, gathering couples celebrating significant wedding anniversaries.
Couples celebrating 50 years of marriage, or golden anniversaries, were presented with gifts. Among them was one couple celebrating 60 years of shared life.
The assembled couples were first welcomed by Eduard Lacković, director of the local tourist board. He thanked them for attending and offered sincere congratulations on their life milestones. The mayor of Valpibo, Matko Šutalo, also joined in, presenting the couples with certificates of appreciation and gifts.
The couple celebrating 60 years of marriage this year are Kata and Petar Boros. The golden anniversary, or 50 years of marriage, is being celebrated by Anica and Darko Bračevac, Marija and Nikola Varžić, Mirjana and Zlatko Ivošević, Anica and Stevan Španović, Anica and Mirko Salajić, Zdenka and Martin Glavica, Zdenka and Ivica Lončarić, Marija and Josip Petlić, and Branka and Zdenko Ružman.
The event proceeded in a pleasant atmosphere, with the gathering continuing over a shared lunch and conversation. During the time together, the celebrants shared many life experiences and memories.
