Hajduk convincingly defeated Lithuanian side Žalgiris 4-0 in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Conference League. With this triumph, the Split-based club secured a place in the play-off, where they will face Polish side Raków Częstochowa. The aggregate score of the two matches is 9-2 in favour of Hajduk, which is sufficient for progression to the most demanding stage of the qualifiers.

The first match was played in Lithuania, where Hajduk also won with a high 5-2. In today's match, goals were scored by Hajduk's Darijo Melnjak, Adam Huram, Abdoulie Sanyang Bamba and Michele Šego. Melnjak touched the net in the 53rd minute, while Huram scored in the 69th minute. Bamba scored in the 80th minute, and Šego completed the score in the 82nd minute.

Special attention was drawn to 17-year-old Adam Huram, who scored in the second half. Šego had previously sent the ball into the middle of the pitch where Huram was alone against the goalkeeper and seized the opportunity for the second goal for the home side. In the 75th minute, a change occurred on the pitch as Šutalo left the field, with Bamba entering the game in his place, assisted by Acapandie for the fourth goal.

Hajku play in the Conference League against Polish side Raków. The first match is scheduled for 20 August at Poljud, with the second leg taking place in Poland on 27 August. Hajduk's squad is led by Gonzalo Garcia, and the market value of the players is 33.5 million euros. Opposing them is Raków, whose squad value is 32.4 million euros, with the most valuable players being Stratos Svarnas and Lamane Diaby-Fadiga, valued at 3 million euros each.
