Croatian top-flight side Hajduk achieved a notable success at an international football tournament. The under-14 team won the 28th edition of the traditional Međimurje tournament, confirming the high level of preparation for upcoming competitive fixtures.
The multi-day competition featured numerous young teams from various European countries, giving the event an international character. Alongside the domestic Croatian audience, representatives from seven European nations participated, including selections from England, Italy, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
Winning the trophy at such a high-quality and internationally backed competition is further encouragement for work with younger age groups at the Split club. With the victory, the U-14 squad confirmed the quality of their work and readiness for higher-level competitions, taking an important step in the development of young players.
