Young players from NK Zara in Zadar spent the weekend filled with excitement and top results on the green pitch. The weekend lasted two days, and under the club's organisation, 77 children travelled to Rijeka to cheer on the Croatian national football team against England from the stands of the "Rujevica" stadium. The final result on the pitch, however, did not go in favour of the Vatreni.

Despite this, Zara's competitive squads recorded maximum three wins from three matches in the County League. Zara's pioneers played against peers from Sveti Mihovil Sutomišćica, with the match marked by a hat-trick from Andrija Cetinjanin. Ognjen Božović scored two goals, while Filip Šundov added one.

Zara's "tići" played against the team from Pag. Adrian Perinović scored three goals, Tonči Pirc two, while Mateo Brkić, Lucas Axl Mandić, Jakov Marić and Lucas Đurković each scored one.

The "Papaline" played against Novalja. Daris Hodžić hit the opponent's net four times, and Lukas Margetić scored twice. With these results, the young Zadar footballers rounded off a weekend that, along with cheering for the national team, will remain in their memories.
