Zadar basketball players visit Dubrovnik tomorrow at 19:00 at the "Gospino polje" arena in the sixth round of the Croatian Championship. Zadar are top of the table with a record of 5-0, while Dubrovnik are in eighth place with a record of 2-3.

Zadar coach Stipe Modrić will not be able to count on Montenegrin shooter Vladimir Mihailović, who still has back problems. Mihailović will not be in the squad for either the match against Dubrovnik or the away game in Dubai. Despite the pain, he gritted his teeth in the match against Ilirija.

"We respect all opponents. On paper we are a much better team than Dubrovnik, but we need to show that on the court," Modrić said. He highlighted Dubrovnik players: Petra Dubelj, Lukša Andrić, Marko Lončović and Luka Frančešević, as well as Tonio Josipović and Luka Gulan.

Zadar depart for Dubrovnik tomorrow morning. On Saturday morning they head to Sarajevo, from where they will continue their journey to Dubai. On Wednesday there is a flight to Belgrade, where they will be met by the club bus which will take them to Subotica. On Thursday they face Spartak.

Modrić stated: "He will join us in Belgrade after we return from Dubai and will probably be ready for the match against Spartak." On Mihailović's condition he added: "The pain is still present, but as far as I am informed, the condition is improving."

Asked about a potential signing, Modrić said: "We will have to react if he is absent from the court for a long time. If that happens, we will look at other solutions."
