Data analysis reveals a dominant platform in the market. ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, secured an impressive 53 per cent of the total web traffic among the 15 most popular tools on the list. This result clearly illustrates how a specific application has become a central point in the daily use of AI technology, attracting significantly more users than all other competitors combined.

The structure of the AI tool market remains highly concentrated, primarily influenced by US technology companies. Of the 15 tools identified on the list, 12 originate from the United States. This statistical dominance highlights how US tech giants remain the primary shapers of trends in the development and popularisation of artificial intelligence, although smaller competitors are becoming visible in the market.

Among individual applications, Canva stands out, recording 760 million visits. Although this is a significant number, it is still considerably lower than the traffic generated by ChatGPT alone. Meanwhile, Google, despite having two tools on the list (Gemini and Google Translate), fails to reach the same level of traffic as the individual leader. Google Translate records 343 million visits, while Gemini achieves 1.1 billion, with the total combined still falling short of the traffic generated by ChatGPT alone.

Other popular applications also record significant figures. DeepSeek records 319 million visits, while Magnific, with 117 million, and Janitor AI and Character AI, which together account for approximately 339 million monthly visits, are also notable. It is important to note that Microsoft Copilot, which has 93 million visits, is integrated directly into Windows and Office, giving it wide availability, although its traffic still trails behind the leading players in the market.
