Luka Modric and Edin Dzeko have become investors in the luxury resort "Tri sestrice", located at the very beginning of the Peljesac peninsula. The estimated value of this large project is nearly one billion euros, placing it among the most valuable investment ventures in the region. The project has earned the nickname "new city" in public discourse due to its ambitious scale and infrastructural works.
The idea for the construction of this complex was developed by Split entrepreneur Vicenc Blagaić. Blagaić has been working on this vision for almost two decades, indicating a long-term process of planning and groundwork preparation for realization. His persistent effort to turn the idea into reality culminated in the engagement of internationally renowned athletes.
The investment in the project is signed by two of the most famous footballers from the Balkans. Luka Modric, captain of the Croatian national team, and Edin Dzeko, captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, support the development of the resort with their names and capital. Their participation has further raised media attention to the project, which has been mentioned for years in the context of major tourism investments on the Adriatic coast.
The location at the beginning of Peljesac makes the site strategically important for the future tourism development of that part of Croatia. Given that it is a luxury resort, the project is expected to attract high-quality tourism demand. The entry of Modric and Dzeko into the ownership structure signals the seriousness of intent of all parties involved in the realisation of this capital-intensive project.
