Luka Modrić and Edin Džeko have become investors in the luxury resort 'Tri Sestrice', located at the very beginning of the Pelješac peninsula. The estimated value of this project is nearly a billion euros, placing it among the most valuable investment ventures in the region. The project has earned the nickname 'new town' in public discourse due to its ambitious scale and infrastructural interventions.
The idea for the construction of this complex was developed by the Split-based entrepreneur Vicen Blaić. Blaić has been working on this vision for almost two decades, indicating a long-term process of planning and terrain preparation. His persistent effort to turn the idea into reality culminated in the engagement of internationally known sportsmen.
The investment in the project is backed by two of the most prominent footballers from the Balkans. Luka Modrić, captain of the Croatian national team, and Edin Džeko, captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, are supporting the development of the resort with their names and capital.
