The state inspectorate has reported a recall of two food products due to irregularities that may affect their safety. NutriGold soya is being withdrawn from sale due to elevated levels of phosphoric acid, and the gummy sweets are being withdrawn due to the presence of traces of mould.

The operator in the food business, Galleria d.o.o., is recalling the product Soya 1000g by NutriGold. The recall applies to the product with the batch label LOT S25005 and an expiry date of 25 November 2027. The product is not in compliance with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The manufacturer is DO-IT Organic from Barneveld in the Netherlands, while the retail outlet is Galleria d.o.o. located at Predačeva 6 in Zagreb. An elevated presence of phosphoric acid was identified in the product, and it is being withdrawn as a precaution and at the request of the manufacturer.

Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to check the batch label on the packaging and not to consume the recalled product. The product can be returned to any store of Tvornica zdrave hrane, where a refund will be issued, even without a receipt. Further information on the recall is available on the official website of Tvornica zdrave hrane.

The second recall concerns the gummy sweets Cocco in the shape of eggs, in a 80-gram pack. The Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food (HAPIH) announced on Thursday that traces of mould were found in the product before the expiry date. The gummies are not suitable for consumption.

The recall applies only to sweets with an expiry date of 24 October 2027 and an EAN code of 6972007904589. The supplier is Herman Kuijzer BV from Amstelveen in the Netherlands, with retail distribution by Action Croatia d.o.o. in Zagreb.

Action has urged consumers not to use the product with the specified barcode and to return it to any of their stores. Customers will receive a full refund, even if they do not have a proof of purchase. Details of the product and the return process are available on the official website of Action.
