The city councilor of the Centre, Bojan Ivošević, on Tuesday called out Split's mayor, Tomislav Šošt, for business with the companies Vision Facade and RDI Production. Ivošević claims that these two companies are linked to Šošt's adviser, Antonio Nikolić.
At a press conference, Ivošević stated that the business of the companies Vision Facade and RDI Production with the City of Split and the state is approaching an amount of €2 million. This was linked to the funding of political campaigns, with Ivošević stating that services rendered for the campaigns were subsequently paid for through business with the public sector.
According to Ivošević, behind the company Vision Facade stands Nikolić, who volunteered in Šošt's campaign. Vision Facade was established in July 2024, and since its establishment, it has done business with the state 11 times. Ivošević said: "It is time for Šošt, but ultimately for Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, to say whether they were aware that a adviser who volunteered in their campaign was behind the company Vision Facade."
Ivošević called on Plenković to respond as to whether he was aware of Nikolić's involvement, noting that Nikolić was photographed alongside the prime minister during his stay in Dalmasia, with technical equipment. Ivošević specifically highlighted the case of the first order from the company Vision Facade, which, 18 days after its establishment, received a contract worth nearly €3,000 from the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. He requested an explanation from Minister Tončini Glava. "I would like Glava to explain how he found a company that has existed for only 18 days, and I would expect him to seek out companies with years of experience and quality products that have been publicly presented," said Ivošević.
He also addressed the filming of the city's event 'Queen of the Ball', stating that this work, for which a company linked to Nikolić was allegedly hired, was actually carried out by the firm Hipermedia. He called on the relevant authorities to check how much was paid for the filming of this event. He also recalled that the Croatian Home had confirmed that Nikolić had initiated the engagement of RDI Production.
Ivošević called on the relevant authorities to examine the business of these companies with the public sector in Split and other cities. He believes that the Croatian Court of Audit could check the accounts of private companies, as he stated, this is a continuation of Fimi Media, but with a larger number of smaller accounts and locations.
