A lifelong learning fair will take place in Pitomača on Wednesday, 30 September, at Stjepan Sulimanac Secondary School. The fair will run from 12:00 to 14:00 and is held as part of this year's Week of Lifelong Learning.
The week-long event takes place from 28 September to 4 October. The fair will focus on the importance of lifelong learning and the opportunities available in the field of education and professional development for employed and unemployed individuals.
Participating in the fair are secondary vocational schools, adult education institutions, the Croatian Employment Service, and the University of Virovitica. Participants will present their educational and further training opportunities to visitors.
Stjepan Sulimanac Secondary School is the county coordinator of the Week of Lifelong Learning in the Virovitica-Podravina County for the second year running. Various lectures, workshops, and other activities will be held as part of the week across the region.
The Week of Lifelong Learning is a national educational campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of learning and education. It is an initiative by UNESCO, launched in 1999, which is celebrated annually in many countries with the aim of promoting a culture of learning and encouraging personal motivation for education throughout life.
