The Police Directorate announced that two men, suspected of committing two thefts, were arrested. The total value of the stolen goods exceeded 8,000 kuna.

The two suspects, whose identities were confirmed by the police, were brought in for processing and subsequently transferred to the detention unit of the Police Directorate in the County of Dubrovnik for further proceedings.

According to the provided data, the perpetrators are from the area of Varažbin County. The first suspect, a 32-year-old, was arrested on 16 July, while the second, a 33-year-old, was arrested on 24 August in Crikvenica. Although apprehended in different locations, both were brought in for processing and then transferred to the same detention unit.

The primary reason for the arrest is the commission of theft. In the first instance, the suspects stole an amount of 450 euros, which at the time represented a significant sum. In the second instance, the theft involved an amount of 8,131.95 euros, indicating a significantly larger scope of stolen property. Both cases involve the theft of money, which is a key element of the charges.

Both individuals were brought before a judge for examination following their detention.
