Officers from the Umag Police Station with the Buje detachment have completed a criminal investigation into a 62-year-old woman. During the procedure, reasonable suspicion was established that the woman had committed the criminal offence of theft.
According to the data provided, the woman is accused of having appropriated another person's wallet from a shop located in Kolodvorska Street in Umag in the afternoon of 10 July. Actions were taken to establish the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the suspect.
As a result of the aforementioned criminal offence, a 66-year-old Serbian national was victimised. The value of the material damage is estimated at several hundred euros, representing a significant loss for the male victim.
Given the collected evidence and established facts, a criminal complaint is being filed against the 62-year-old suspect with the competent state attorney's office. The complaint is submitted in the regular procedure, initiating a legal process that will bring a final verdict on her guilt.
